I recorded it when I found out we have the BBC 4 at our TV. (thought we only had 1 & 2) I really could relate to the ladies who did audition, I’m not into acting orso myself but it was about how they were treated. Suddenly I felt like I was the lady they were talking to, I was the lady who had to hear them be nasty about her body, telling her she didn’t had the ideal figure. I’ve always been a unsecure person. The reality is hard, and not just in this industry. Everywhere, all over the world!
This is the Instagram time line from Rebel Park, the quotes are really inspirable. Because what do we unsecure women do? We compare ourselves to others, we feel ashamed. Bit by bit I’m learning not to do that. They also have a video of Tom, it’s right in-between the 2 quotes I just mentioned. Worth checking it out.
Let’s make a change! All over the World! Tom gave me back part of my self-confidence and his performance of Loki inspired me to start writing myself. Makes me do what I truly desire, even if it’s just for fun. It’s also for my personal progress. Tom keeps proving how an amazing person he truly is by doing this and other projects! ❤
At school I wanted to study Motor Vehicle Technology for one of my GCSE’s because I’d always loved tinkering with cars at the weekend with my dad and was good at it. I was told that it was ‘for boys’ and that I should concentrate on the more academic subjects.
So I know this attitude is rife in all careers, at any age and we have to do something about it.
