The novel versions of Thor and The Dark World are practically no different from the screenplays. But Ragnarok’s novel and film versions, with almost the same story, are quite different in terms of Thor and Loki’s character development. Tbh I prefer their roles in the novel version, which are more compliant with the early series of movies.
Thor believes Loki did make a sacrifice for him in TDW. He didn’t blame his brother for “faking his own death” and “betraying him again and again” (which actually Loki did not). ⬇
Loki wants to compensate for releasing Hela. Thor admits his own fault. Loki didn’t betray Thor in Grandmaster’s garage. ⬇
