Today I took a four year old to see House with a Clock in the Walls and let me tell you, kids are fucking hardcore.

I’m cringing away from the nightmare fuel that is rabid zombie pumpkins, evil sentient dolls, murder mannequins and babies with adult faces and kiddo is there chilling like its all 10000% normal and cool in her world.

She deadass looks me in the eyes and says ‘don’t be scared, its not real’, like she’s not fucking four years old and cries if there aren’t any more crackers in her lunchbox.

And thats why kids are badass and terrifying and but also, possibly, changelings.
