This one was special.
I passed a meadow where ± 40 cows lay ruminating, all of them black and white. Only one was completely white and she was pretty much the furthest (about 35 meters) away. There were these gorgeous clouds, and I really wanted her in front of those.
Even though I knew it was useless, because ruminating cows are extremely stoic, I started to speak friendly, and clearly only directed at her. I asked her if she would be so kind to come to me to help me make some photos of her, because I thought she was beautiful. She got up (the rest of the herd totally ignored me) and slowly but steadily came to me and posed for me as long as I needed.
Afterwards I told her she made my day, sincerely thanked her for her cooperation and wished her a very pleasant evening.Maybe some will think that I am a cow whisperer.
I am not.
Cows are just a lot smarter than most of us think.
