Not to sound dramatic or anything but if the copyright directive passes next year in the European Parliament, tumblr will essentially be dead in the EU and I guess in many ways that’ll affect everyone else too.

No more gifs, no more memes, no screenshots. Fanfiction will be a nightmare. I’m not sure about fanart, but if tumblr implements upload filters, a lot of stuff that isn’t actually cr will be falsely detected and not be posted.

So, yeah, we should be freaking the fuck out.

So,if you could all contact your MEPs that voted in favour and explain to them how fucked up their decision is that would be great. We can not give up, we need to fight this!
