The stories I hear from family members about the way they were treated by Saudis, Emiratis and Jordanians when working as maids is….revolting. We shouldn’t allow these girls to go work there, tell the Arabs to do their own work
Hey folks! As I mentioned yesterday I’m going to have a big update tomorrow, Sunday November 11th. I have quite a few things but to start off, I have these pink Rose desk lights!
While I was preserving the black roses I stashed a few of these and decided to include them in this week’s update! I have four available total.
All of them will be available tomorrow at 12pm EST! Hope to see you there!
Photographer and videographer Andrew Studer has a passion for the great outdoors, which he explores through his stunning landscape and travel photography. Having grown up in Oregon, where he’s still based, Studer was surrounded by incredible views of nature. This has translated into a successful career as a commercial photographer and videographer.
I had the urge to do something a little new this time with the desk lamps which I’m both excited but unsure of.
I decided to double up some of the specimens in the desk lamps. Even though typically I like to isolate individual specimens, I really like playing with texture and palettes, and doubling up species to me made the lights feel more naturalistic – more like a tiny contained meadow then a preserved specimen.
I have three available – Yarrow and Red Clover, Yarrow and Blue Cornflower, and Calendula and Hyssop – which will all be available tomorrow, Sunday the 11th. I’d also love to hear what people think of them! Do you like the texture or does it look messy to you?
In tomorrow’s update I’m going to have yet another big refresh of pendulums! I especially have a lot of Lilac pendulums available – most of the ones that will be available for the whole season – but also the poisonous herbs Nightshade and Snakeroot, the dreamy Valerian, and a single daisy-like Feverfew pendulum, grown in my own garden this year.
All of these will be available tomorrow, Sunday the 11th at 12pm EST!
