Well, Lemon is officially on pillowfort.io and here are our first thoughts. 

1. We love the communities feature. It’s easily the best part. It’s not like the ‘tag’ section on Tumblr. It’s much more organized and sleek. Overall, a much more enjoyable process of finding your fandom, in our opinion. There are still tags, but the communities thing was obviously made with actual fandom members in mind. 

2. The ‘Filters & Blacklist’ feature works infinitely better than Tumblr. If you don’t want to see it, you won’t. 

3. You can tag individual posts as NSFW, which is just further proof that Tumblr could easily do this if they had the inclination. If you don’t post that much NSFW content, this is probably going to be your favorite thing about Pillowfort. We’re not sure what the other users see (or don’t see) in this regard. 

4. It crashes a lot. There are a ton of people migrating over or just adding profiles. Way more than expected, so this bug isn’t shocking.  It never lasts long, though. It’s literally a matter of refreshing a couple of times to get to the page you needed. Is it a little irritating? Yep. Do we care? Nope. It’s worth it  and so was the $5 donation.
