Monday everything went to hell on this site and the effects hit me mercilessly.
I posted a teaser for one of my fics on monday (yes, we writers are depended on promotion) and it got buried underneath the new guidelines of Tumblr and everyone freaking out. Thus, I didn’t get said exposure I needed, but I’m a strong writer, so I can handle one day of fuckery!
Tuesday I posted a new chapter of one of my fics and I was still experiencing the after-effects from Monday. (I don’t blame you people, keep on ranting and posting about this shitty NFSW-rule, I do so too.)
Then Wednesday came, and everything seemed calmed down and I was feeling motivated again to post another chapter of my fic. And then, suddenly, everyone was experiencing ghost-posts/blog-flu/whatever-shit-went-down-now! And AGAIN my post with my fic got buried underneath everything else! On top of the tagging system breaking again, and people probably not getting the notes when I tagged them.
Now it’s Thursday and tonight I want to post a chapter on a fic I’m extremely PROUD of, yet, my self-esteem and motivation as a writer are heavily depended on the likes and comments of others.
Tumblr @staff, I beg of you, for the love of whatever deity you worship, for one damn day (preferably more) DON’T FUCK THIS UP!
I need the exposure, I need the validation!
Because really, you’re ruthlessly KILLING a writer in the most cruel way!
the Drake and Millie situation? why is this being allowed to happen. I know it happens all over the world but here – right in the public eye it’s happening and nobody is thinking anything of it??? Or are turning a blind fucking eye??
Jorja is only just now 21 and Bella Harris is only 18.
dont lie to yourselves this IS as digusting as it sounds and these people had sex with these girls probably at the age they met them… maximum a year after.. not EVEN a couple years
For some reason I feel the urge to reblog as many nipplish jokes as I can find. It’s in my personality to make jokes about things that piss me off. The sexism in banning nipples only when they are attached to a woman… What ever reason is realy behind this move on tumblr’s part, the misogyny jumped out.
Tumblr has given me a place to hide out when offline life was painfull and hard to take. I’ve run into some lovely people here. Nothing lasts for ever, not the bad, not the good. But I do hope some of the good here can hang on for a little longer.
I will continue to reblog photography that I love and to try and do what I can to get artists who’s work I love seen. That is really all I do, no original content, just reblogging, commenting on artwork like photography, illustrations and fanfic.
To everybody who is kicked out or walking out, thank you for your help. In all the ways you gave it either to me or others. By commenting, helping or sharing your work.
